Kiki first started coming to Telluride in the late 70s to ski with her family and fell in love with the mountains and the town.
After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in Economics, she went on to get an MBA in Finance at Michigan State University and launched into a successful decade long corporate finance career, starting as a financial analyst at Ford Motor Company and moving on to executive roles within Six Flags Theme Parks Corporate and Allied Signal/Honeywell Aerospace Headquarters.
While she loved the experience and challenges that come with big corporations, her holiday visits to Telluride were an annual reminder of what life could be away from the grind of an office (this was long before “working remotely” was a thing).
So in 2001 Kiki said goodbye to her beloved colleagues, packed her bags and moved to Telluride full-time.
Looking for somewhere to put her experience to good use in a small mountain town, she naturally gravitated towards real-estate, which seemed well-suited for someone who loves to crunch numbers, solve complex problems, develop and execute strategies and close deals.
Both moving to Telluride and delving into real estate have proven to be great decisions. For almost 20 years Kiki has been representing her clients in Telluride, both buyers and sellers, many of whom have become her closest friends. She is a particular favorite of clients who appreciate a realtor who runs the numbers backwards and forwards, processes the options and views relationships with her clients as long-term – a perfect combination of patience and persistence.
